Carers

ADVENTURE REHAB is a rehabilitation provider with a difference. We recognise that a rehabilitation journey is not only travelled by the person who is injured or ill, but also by their partners, families and friends. We also know that this journey can be emotionally and physically draining for everyone involved.

Being a carer for someone who is injured or ill often occupies every waking moment of your day and just occasionally it’s critical to have the opportunity to have time away from the situation, to see life through a different lens and to participate in a journey of recovery of your own!

We deliver both short (3-day) and extended (5-day) courses specifically aimed at those who care for others. These course are delivered by outdoor and rehabilitation specialists, with the support of psychology experts.

These short, but powerful programmes, give you the opportunity to discuss with our team coping and motivational strategies, to confront behavioural and emotional gridlocks and to address fatigue and burn out in a supportive and inspirational environment.

All our courses combine physical outdoor activities with time to relax, in a peer-supportive group setting. We hope that you take away from this not only a renewed sense of well being and motivation, but also supportive friendships that will last long beyond the course.
